Mike Dundon attended my seminar last weekend, and on Monday I had a bunch of emails from him about properties to see. A couple looked promising. So we met at the first one this week and I decided to video the walk through. It’s longer than I normally spend in a house, but you’ll get the idea.
Saw a presentation last night that Scott Baumgart gave at Mark Ijlal’s real estate investor club. It was excellent – and his business model was worth taking note of.
One year ago today I had a million dollar day – I bought a million dollars worth of real estate in one day.
The last 12 months have been quite an experience learning how to manage an apartment building.
Back in the summer I finished writing my first book. It’s on buying rental houses and IF it ever gets published the title will be “How to Buy Your FIRST Set and Forget Rental House”.
The operative term though is IF.
I’m self-publishing using Lulu.com, and dealing with them has been a nightmare. Although I did, finally today, push the button and approve the text and cover. So I’m crossing my fingers that it’s really going to get done.
From the Mt Clemens apartment project on Friday to my Set and Forget Rental Property Bootcamp this weekend to a meeting with a new partner last night – this is the time of year when things really heat up. And it’s a lot of fun.
